A private heritage village in Arad, located in the heart of Bahrain’s first capital, is closed after a fire erupted at the facility today.
According to the owner Ali Al Mutawa, the fire has destroyed a significant portion of the Heritage Village.
The fire has been extinguished, however civil defence personnel are currently at the scene to ensure secondary fires do not erupt.
Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the fire, according to Mr Al Mutawa.
No injuries have been reported.
