Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received outgoing Chinese Ambassador Ni Ruchi. Shaikh Khalid affirmed the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and China, noting the continued development of bilateral co-operation and the importance of further expanding it across various domains.
The two sides also exchanged views on issues of common interest and reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
For his part, the ambassador commended the support he received throughout his tenure, which contributed to the success of his mission and strengthened co-operation between the two countries in pursuit of their common aspirations. He wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
