MORE than 250 children took part in an awareness initiative organised by Al Hilal Multi Speciality Medical Centre, Manama marking World Health Day.
The event, which was held at the centre’s premises, aimed to spread awareness on the importance of health and physical fitness by educating the children about hand hygiene and physical activity.
It was organised in association with UAE Exchange, UFC Gym and MJD Sports Club.
More than eight schools took part in the initiative including the British School of Bahrain, the International School of Choueifat – Manama, Al Noor International School, Pakistan School and New Generation Private School.
